Cooke's Restaurant & Bar plays 1920s glamour completely straight inside Fable Auckland, velvet couches, polished metal and intimate corners doing the Art Deco heavy lifting. The kitchen keeps things modern and nourishing, leaning on sustainable New Zealand produce for mains like eye fillet or roasted duck breast, alongside NZ king scallops and prawn cocktail on the seafood side. The bar earns its own reputation too, a cocktail trolley in tow and a drinks list headlined by the theatrical Queen of Spirits and a flat white martini. High Tea here has become an institution.
