About the restaurant
Kome brings a grunge edge to the izakaya format, all moody lighting and rebellious energy tucked into Commercial Bay with views out over the Viaduct Harbour and ferry terminal. Lunch keeps things quick with bento boxes and poke bowls, before the room shifts gear come evening: shareable tapas, fresh sashimi, sushi rolls like the Ebi Mayo and Aburi, crispy karaage chicken, agedashi tofu, scampi yaki udon and beef tataki, all built for passing around. The drinks list is the real flex — an extensive sake selection served hot or cold, alongside specialty cocktails, whiskies and Japanese teas.
