Mozzarella & Co. brings proper trattoria warmth to the ground floor of voco Auckland City Centre, the kind of cozy, relaxed room built for long lunches that drift comfortably into evening. Wood-fired pizzas and handcrafted pastas anchor the menu, but the real theatre is the cacio e pepe, tossed tableside inside a giant flaming parmesan wheel until it's rich, glossy and thoroughly show-off worthy. Locally sourced seasonal produce runs through everything, European flavours kept honest rather than fussy. Rustic comfort meets city-centre polish here, and somehow neither side loses.
