About the restaurant
Vivace Restaurant & Bar has found a new home inside the historic Hotel DeBrett, bringing its art deco elegance and warm, chef-driven energy into one of Auckland CBD's most storied buildings. Veteran restaurateurs Mandy and Gene are behind it, with Head Chef Sergio leading a menu of modern New Zealand and European sharing plates, tapas, pastas and roasts built for grazing over good conversation. The cocktail list is expertly crafted, the atmosphere unmistakably 1920s, and the weekend High Tea has become something of an institution in its own right.
