About the restaurant
Tucked into a sunnier corner of Viaduct Basin, away from the marina crowds, Frida trades in proper Mexican flavour, genuine ingredients, traditional methods, no shortcuts. The tequila and mezcal wall runs deep, over thirty pours strong, backing a punchy margarita and a rotating trio of sangrias. Tacos come fast and unfussy, churros arrive warm for the sweet-toothed, all served on Frida's own philosophy: this food is better shared with amigos. Staff are warm and multilingual, service stays lively when the courtyard fills, and prices stay kinder than most Viaduct neighbours.
