About the restaurant
Award winning Black Barn Bistro reopened in 2023 after a devastating fire 12 months prior. The new building affords stunning views of hilltops and vineyards. Ironically, the new wood fire takes pride of place, used to prepare ingredients throughout the Mod NZ menu. New Zealand wines are front and foremost with some fine Black Barn Estate drops, of course! Black Barn also offers 17 chalets across the region, all located in superb locations.
