Set inside Christchurch's former newspaper building on Gloucester Street, Edizi runs from morning coffee through to evening cocktails with an open-flame kitchen at its centre. The signature Edizi Plate has built a loyal breakfast following, while dinner turns toward grass-fed beef scotch with celeriac purée, pappardelle with tiger prawns, and lamb rump cap with chimichurri. Blond timber chairs, an olive lattice ceiling and linen curtains give the room a breezy, editorial feel true to its name.
