About the restaurant
Situated amongst the scenic landscapes of New Zealand's South Island, Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses offers a one-of-a-kind retreat on a deer breeding farm just north of Kaikoura. Surrounded by the majestic Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and the pristine coast, the lodge provides luxurious accommodation and an intimate indoor/outdoor setting for guests to unwind and explore.
Inspired by the Maori term "Kai Whare," meaning "house of food," the dining room embodies warmth and relaxation, where guests can engage with passionate chefs as they craft meals using locally sourced ingredients, including produce from their very own gardens. From farm to table, every dish is a celebration of New Zealand's culinary richness, enhancing each guest’s experience of the beautiful region.
